A partnership built on shared values. Supporting everyday champions.

Latrobe Health Services is teaming up with North Melbourne Football Club as their Official Health Insurance Partner, supporting both the AFLW and AFL teams, and as an Official Partner of The Huddle, the AFL’s largest community program.

This is a partnership grounded not just in sport, but in community and real impact to help people live healthier, more connected lives.

Why this partnership matters

As a not‑for‑profit health insurer, Latrobe Health Services exists to support the health and wellbeing of over 110,000 members and their communities. Through bold partnerships and health initiatives, we work to go beyond insurance and create real, positive impact.

Our alignment with North Melbourne Football Club is a natural fit:

  • Shared values of inclusivity, resilience and community
  • A commitment to improving health literacy and preventative care
  • A focus on empowering young people and families
  • Supporting diverse communities so everyone feels they belong

We’ve demonstrated our community spirit time and again through initiatives like The Latrobe Health Services Foundation, our partnership with Shane Warne Legacy, Phoenix Australia and many more. Learn more about our commitment to community.

Together, we’re building stronger, healthier communities

We’re excited for what’s ahead. With North Melbourne Football Club, we’ll continue delivering programs that help young people thrive, empower culturally diverse communities, and create more ways for everyone to feel supported, connected and well.

Uniting through community impact, we are making it happen

Sport has a unique power to bring people together. It creates belonging, strengthens wellbeing, and builds resilience, values we share deeply with the Roos!

That’s why this partnership focuses on programs that make a tangible difference, including The Huddle, Huddle Up! and Next Generation Academy.

The Huddle

The AFL’s largest community program, empowering over 200,000 young people since 2010. The Huddle builds confidence, connection and pathways for multicultural, migrant and regional communities, and we’re proud to help expand its reach and impact.

Huddle Up!

An incredible program delivering social sport and active recreation for women from migrant, First Nations and culturally diverse backgrounds across VIC, NSW and QLD, with expansion into SA. These hubs create safe, inclusive spaces for women to build friendships, fitness and confidence.

Next Generation Academy

NMFC’s Next Generation Academy identifies and develops young multicultural and Indigenous footballers across Wyndham, Melbourne, and the northern corridor zone. Beyond on‑field performance, the program delivers dynamic education and life‑skills development to help athletes grow into well‑rounded individuals, empowering them to succeed as players, community leaders, and future professionals.
