Everyday Champions competition now open
Latrobe Health Services and North Melbourne Football Club are calling for entries into the Everyday Champions Competition. This competition puts the spotlight on small health actions – the ones that help you stay in the game – physically, mentally and socially.
You don’t need to be an athlete to be a champion. Everyday Champions is a season-long competition that recognises the small health actions you take each day.
Your action could be recovery after injury, packing a healthy lunch or checking in with someone you care about. You share your “champion move”. We celebrate it.
What is a champion move?
A champion move is a simple action that helps you stay well. It can be big or small. It just needs to be real.
Did you:
- Take the stairs instead of the lift
- Walk instead of drive
- Do your rehab or recovery exercises
- Cook a healthy meal
- Pack a balanced lunch
- Choose to drink water
- Go to bed on time
- Take a break from your screen
- Check in with a mate
- Complete a Shane Warne Legacy Health Check
If you did one of these, then congratulations – you’re an Everyday Champion!
