Founded in 1950, Latrobe Health was created to support the health care needs of local residents, initially focusing on essential medical services such as hospitals and ambulances.

A lot has changed since then. Today, we provide hospital and extras cover to members nationwide. But the spirit of our founders - community, care, and doing the right thing - remains at the heart of everything we do.

We’re proud to reinvest in the communities we serve. In 2025, we established The Latrobe Health Services Foundation to support strategic partnerships and provide grants that improve health services and outcomes for people in regional and rural areas.
